Christmas lunch with B's family before meeting a friend for tea at The Fabulous Baker Boy . Their cakes were so moist and truly worth that extra calories intake . Tried their apple cider slice for the first time and even the boys loved it as well ! I'd most probably go on and on talking about cakes because I can easily skip a meal but I can never skip the chance of having a slice of cake .
Of other news , we also did shopping at Taka after the tea session and I guess I don't even need to talk about the crowd . Looking for something during the festive season is always that unproductive . Not to even mention the bad traffic and looking for a parking lot , that explains why I always avoid Orchard road during festive seasons at all cost . We had our experience , again .
Festive season usually calls for many meet ups with the friends and our first Christmas dinner date was with B's friends at Sun with moon . I'm never as happy as everyone else when it comes to gift exchanging because I usually do not have any inspiration of what to buy for the love ones . Usually when I do shopping and happen to see any gift-worthy present , I'd be like " This makes a good gift for occasions ! " And trust me , when any occasion comes along , I completely blank out on what I made a mental note on . So if you're my friend , you would most probably not have received anything from me yet . But this year , just right before Christmas I went to Korea so everyone close have gifts ! Anyway , the point is I forgot to bring the gifts out to meet the friends . I only panicked when dinner time was nearing and I already spent half a day in town . So technically speaking , the girls did not receive my presents before Christmas . And I'm such an idiot for forgetting .
Sorry girls , it'll most probably be a CNY gift by then .
