Tea Set - A slice of cake x 2 macarons x Sandwich fingers x 2 pots of tea 

Canele always look classy and expensive to me but they actually have a very affordable menu . Their high tea set is only at $20++ for two which was perfect for Ellen & I because we were not too hungry for a proper meal . The girlfriend is always nice to let me pick the choice of cake/sandwich flavor that I like . Its even better to have a girlfriend that doesn't fancy cakes so I got the entire slice of strawberry shortcake to myself .

Dinner at Timbre on a Sunday night . Surprisingly quiet , when we initially thought we had to queue for seats . Service was bad , Snowball cocktail was bad , Aglio Olio was bad , only the pizzas and company were good . I know Timbre's kinda notorious for its bad service , but I mean I wouldn't give a flying fuck if I do not pay for service charge , no ? We're in fact paying more for service charge than gst and not getting service ? The management is already using Ipads to take orders so the waiters do not even need to come over to our tables + on Sunday , the restaurant was only almost 50% full - now tell me what are the waiters busy with ? There's only so much you can serve , how difficult is that to get us water ? Its okay that we self service but its fucking annoying to see the waiters gathering to chat or hanging around like aimless souls . I think I'll just order their pizza delivery in future if I crave for it .

The following day was a Monday dinner date at Kuishin bo - Suntec City . SALMON + CHAWAMUSHI + DESSERT SPAM !!! It was really worth the price tag , for the fresh quality food they serve . Even their desserts were so exquisite , half the time I couldn't figure out what was I eating . Its only sad that they do not serve my favourite Chocolate eclair . How can you not have chocolate eclair in a buffet ?! *flips table*

And finally having another girl in the clique makes life better for me . Shihui and I were engrossed in our girly conversations throughout dinner while the boys do their usual army talk . It was a good night with everyone whining on how bloated they were .

Company event @ Malaysian food street .
Good days are leaving work earlier than usual , strolling around RWS and having a good dinner before ending the day . Despite the frequent visits to RWS , I've never been to the food street before so thank you , my awesome company for paying me to eat . It was like a food street buffet so we could try everything in bite size . My favourite have got to be the claypot rice!!!

Mommy's birthday

It was a successful surprise planned by her bestfriend and I ! We had dinner at a vegetarian restaurant and its been quite awhile since I ate veg , so I was quite excited about the food actually . Vegetarian food is not that bad after all , mock meat actually taste quite similar thou it might be a little bland . We had 7 courses and it was such a satisfying dinner . I had my favourite Yam paste too!

Office affairs , Birthday & farewell

Birthday lunch for the clueless Birthday girl at Marche before surprising her with her favourite Chocolate cake in the office . For those that are not aware , please do not even think about celebrating birthdays in Marche because they charge a cockage fee of $20 for cutting a cake in their restaurant . Epitome of a DAY LIGHT ROBBERY ! This is one of the most unreasonable protocol coming from a restaurant . Thankfully we had a backup plan to cut the cake in our meeting room .
