서울 Seoul x Day three

Winter Wonderland trip 2012 //

DAY THREE
Myeong-dong 명동 / Dongdaemun 동대문 • Sunnyne Dog cafe • Korean BBQ • Haha's restaurant

Finally visiting the tourist-must-go-places-of-interest on the third day !
Braved the cold in just a woolen sweater , I must say I really have high tolerance for cold .

The long anticipated breakfast at Myeong-dong . Since Bryan wasn't adapting too well to the weather and he fell sick , porridge would be really ideal for our meal . Such a huge bowl of goodness on a cold winter day for approx. Sgd$10 . It was so yummy that we had it twice during our trip .

Then the real shopping began . I'm never someone who uses skincare products and the only cosmetic I use is foundation but when you're in Korea , just buy . The beautiful culture about Korea that attracts me most is their upbringing . The people in Korea are mostly friendly , helpful and enthusiastic . They would never hard sell their products and be rude to customers who end up not buying anything . Myeong-dong was definitely the place that done the most damage to my wallet . The masks and products were so heavy , we had to drop our loots back in the hotel before heading out again .

We went to Hongdae in the evening in search of a dog cafe . The shop owner was really nice despite the challenge in communicating with us . In a dog cafe , just grab a drink and enjoy the dogs's company . The bottom line is , just chill . And don't worry if your concern is hygiene , the owner cleans up the dog's pee almost immediately every time the dog finishes it's business . It was also the first time I saw a sausage dog , it was so cute with such short legs !

Dinner for the hungry tummies . We just hopped by a restaurant and it was our first Korean BBQ in Seoul ! We just ordered the meat and the rest were complimentary , even the egg on the circumference of the grill . I really gotta hand it to them , for a normal grilled egg can taste so good . How can every random meal in Korea taste so good and unforgettable ?

Last stop of the night : Haha's restaurant - Pal Ja Mak Chang (팔자막창) . Fans of Running man should know who he is . Just so you know, ever since I got introduced and addicted to Running man , it was my main source of motivation to visit Seoul . We had their speciality Mak Chang ( BBQ Pork intestine ) and Pork belly !

love,
sheryl
