WeddingDiary #02 | Post-Proposal Dinner

Celebration dinner was at Taichung's famous BBQ restaurant 屋馬燒肉料亭. Widely raved by the Taiwanese, we were lucky to be recommended by the folks at the Bridal studio to have dinner there! Also, so thankful for their sweet gesture to make us a reservation and to call for a cab to send us right there.

The overflowing amount of food served to our tables were really exaggerating. We were not very sure of what was going to be served because of the flamboyant names given to the dishes on the menu but the set meals we ordered was definitely a bargain. So happy that I finally tried Wagyu beef for the first time! It is abit fatty which I love and the cuts were really fresh and succulent!

And their desserts! Not your usual scoop of cheapo Ice-cream that Singapore would serve you in your set meal. In Taiwan, we get Haagen Dazs with extra toppings! Must thank Singapore for being so stingy that I become easily impressed whenever I travel.

This is exactly what we would pay for a dinner in Singapore. The bill was about SGD$140 which was super reasonable for Singapore standards but quite steep for a holiday meal as tourists. Then again, it is so worth every penny for the quality food served! Wagyu beef, till we meet again! ✌✌✌

love, bella
