Travelogue → I ♥ 台灣 ( Day 04 // 五分埔 )

- Finally it was the last hotel of our trip , for the remaining 4 nights in Taiwan . Not exactly recommended because the room is very very extremely small BUT it is located in the heart of Ximending and its really clean . So stay here only if the rest of the hotels are fully booked in the Ximen area .

Ximen Citizen Hotel
No.94, Emei St, Ximending, Taipei, Taiwan 108

- Had my first bowl of yummy braised pork rice (滷肉飯) at Formosa Chang ! It is seriously the bombz . And this bowl of goodness is officially my favorite food in Taiwan . It's either you love it or you hate it . Some may think its too oily & fattening but I'm so damn willing to burst my carbs intake for this . #dietcanwait

鬍鬚張 - Formosa Chang
Directions : Take Metro to Hou Shan Pi Station, Exit 1. Walk straight along Jhongpo N. Rd. to the intersection of Jhongpo N. Rd. and Yongji Rd. It is across the street, on the right. Watch out for the yellow signboard with the logo.

- Did shopping at Wu Fen Pu (五分埔) , the wholesale garment market !!!

- Raohe night market (饶河街观光夜市) just minutes away from Wu Fen Pu . Had my first slab of quality beef steak at SGD$8 . There was a cheaper beef cut at only SGD$6 . The portion was so huge that it was good to share , especially if you want to continue pigging out in the night market . Oh! You just have to pay for your main course and the soup & drinks is free flow for FREE . Completely beats Astons hands down , the cheapest beef steak I can find in Singapore .

Also , look at the huge roasted pork ! For huge fans of crispy crackling pork skin , they also have it in the night market at a steal . To think we actually always pay so much to have a piece in Singapore restaurants .

- Clubbing in Taiwan was one helluva crazy night . Ladies night was fantastic - I didn't have to pay for cover charge . The boys just had to pay for their cover & we are all in for a free-flow of drinks ALL NIGHT ! You just gotta get your ass down to the clubs in Taiwan to see for yourselves how wild their night can get . In Taiwan everyone gets drunk and wild , In Singapore everyone gets drunk and fight . #truestory

love, sheryl
