Bangkok 2015 | {Stay} Lemontea hotel

January'15 is ending this week and I honestly cannot believe how we lost our pace to the clock. Made a trip to Bangkok two weeks back with the clique and before we started digesting the fun, we were bound for Singapore again. Despite all that, we were really glad to be back safely via Airasia. We actually booked our flights way before the unfortunate plane crash and had to just go with it because it was too late to make any changes. Thankful for the smooth flight!

On our trip, what do I say? Tiring.

I'd never been this tired on a holiday, never. Bangkok got all of us smitten, yet crazy. There was too much to offer in that busy capital --- Shopping, food, massage. When is bedtime? We never knew. So we choked up 4 nights worth of sleep debts and came back home worn out. Lesson learnt- Do not travel too big a group to Bangkok.

Our stay in Lemontea hotel was suffice for a ★★★☆☆ standard --- Clean sheets, spacious room, oh and a huge fridge! The only gripe would be the thin walls, we got warned for being too noisy during our street food room party. But since we're a poor couple scrimping on our pennies, this was a good enough stay for a cheap S$50/night. We were also conveniently located 5 minutes away from the bustling pratunam night market, so yay hello to late night shopping!

We've been nagged by many that we should cut down on travelling as our wedding is approaching. I agree - Weddings are not made of love, it is a make or break by that dollar sign. But one thing for sure, travelling is not all about luxury. We usually travel with a strict budget and it really isn't too expensive to travel around Asia.

Bangkok was made possible with S$670 - air tickets & 4 nights stay / couple. I approve!

love, bella
