Here's second week into living in Korea and this is mostly just snippets of what I ate or did for the week!
→ Trying to keep up with Bryan's idea of taking a picture everyday.
→ This is my kind of comfort Korean food! Lazy dinners can't get any lazier with Gimbap. If not for the husband's fussiness for different food everyday, I honestly wouldn't mind having it everyday! Mandu soup is my favourite! it is the best Korean food without hot pepper sauce (고추장) in it.
→ The husband cooked our dinner! Our favourite ba chor (minced meat) rice & cai por (preserved raddish) fried egg! Um, also leftover dumpling soup from the previous night. The minced meat rice looks um, odd & sticky. But the rice is really flavoured with the meat and it is one of the easier 1 dish meals to cook. Also, I love sticky rice!
→ Innovative way to save yourself hassle is to keep having leftovers so your next meal wouldn't be too sad. The following morning, Bryan went to school and I was too lazy to look for food so I had toasted bread with cai por egg for brunch!
→ One of the after school lunch at Myeongdong. Cheese Tonkatsu at only ₩6,000 and Soft tofu stew (순두부찌개) at ₩5,000.
→ Lunch at a food court near our apartment. This set is only ₩15,000!
→ Saturday brunch by the hubby --- American breakfast in a pan he says.
→ Sunday lunch --- ba chor png again! Rice with less sauce today, don't know what went wrong. Nonethess, still very satisfying.
→ My usual cake craving acted up again. Tiramisu cake it shall be~
love, bella
