Monday could not have treated me any better because I was on my consecutive half day leave and the boyfriend came to pick me up from work for a date again , just the two of us . So Bryan drove us to Katong with many places in mind for lunch and got me to pick which I preferred better . After walking along the streets , I succumbed to the fragrant smell of Katong Laksa lingering and we settled for Laksa instead .

It was then a great afternoon tea time with the boyfriend lazing out in the comfort of a cafe while the scorching sun is out burning the hell out of the humans / shining . The cafe provided such a laid-back ambience while we tuck in our delish desserts and a pot of Earl Grey without having to suffer under the unbearable heat . Such a perfect setting of taking one day off from work on a dreadful weekday to spend some quiet time with my beloved has always been replaying on my mind . Finally my dream Monday afternoon came true . I've always walked past Awfully chocolate with their vast range of exquisite desserts on display but never once had time to spare for some sweet treats . I must say I had a hard time deciding on what to order upon reaching after seeing what is on the menu . Pretty sinful tea-break but its fine since we do not get the chance to sin often on a weekday anyway .
I love white chocolate and the white chocolate block is damn good !

And finally we caught the long anticipated flick MIB ||| at the newly opened I12 Katong's Gold Class . It was such an experience snuggling under the blankets provided with the reclining seat to adjust to your own comfort . The best part is that I forgot if I have watched MIB 1 /2 before so I was pretty clueless about the movie that we were catching . Bryan just told me its about aliens so I'm not too sure what to expect . It turned out to be yet another thumbs up movie worth every penny ! Apart from all the really awesome effects throughout the entire show , I actually thought it was a very heartwarming movie . It is quite like a lesson taught on Friendships and how far would people go for a friend .
Sidetrack a little , In my opinion I prefer Shaw Premiere over Gold Class because I always feel that leather seats are cleaner than cushion seats . The only thing that I like about Gold Class is that the table provided in front of us is bigger so if you would like to have your dinner while watching the show , there is sufficient space whereas Shaw Premiere has only a small coffee table . The biggest downside of Gold Class is that their food menu is really not my cup of tea and for people who know me well enough would know that food is very important to me . I am serious , I couldn't even find something to order from the menu so I got Bryan to get the normal Nachos for us instead . On the other hand , Shaw Premiere's food menu is very appealing to a fussy glutton like me and I just wanted to order everything from the menu . And since Shaw is so much cheaper compared to GV and that I've nothing much to complain about except the really small table , I guess in future if my pocket allows , I would stick to watching all the top rated movies in extra comfort by Shaw !
