#EAT || Timbre night out

What I like :
  • First visit to Timbre left me quite an impression . Firstly , because it was so crowded at first sight and secondly it is the first time I waited for quite awhile to get seated . My patience for a restaurant never exceed the span of 15minutes especially when I'm hungry . I was amazed myself that I wasn't too cranky throughout the longer wait that night .
  • IPAD! Can't blame me for being too surprised when each table has their own Ipad menu to order . Initially I thought it was overrated to use an Ipad for ordering until I saw the endless crowd streaming in and out . Best way to not screw up orders , Technology .
  • Drinks menu , awesome . I rate Awesome when I see my favourite cocktail in the menu . Enough said.
  • The Chill out ambience made it so comfortable to hang out the entire night . Had a lovely night and I actually really enjoyed listening to the live band most of the time and ignoring the boys . Live band was never my kind of thing , not until now .
  • Heard so much about the legendary Duck pizza and I finally got a taste of it . I thought the price was really reasonable at $20 for a hotselling pizza . But its pretty contradicting to see that the mushroom soup being overpriced at $9 .
What I dont :
  • Major downside is to never have a sudden craving for Timbre , like I did . No impromptu dinner dates to Timbre ever made possible unless you are willing to wait . Reservations is a must, in advance.
  • Too rowdy . Cant complain since its on full house and an extremely popular place for the weekends . But I usually pick quiet corners when I dine in a restaurant with relatively fewer patrons and buzz going on . But for the pizza , I will turn on deaf ears .
  • Besides their reputation of awesome pizzas (I'm so hungry after typing so much about their pizza) , the rest of the food was meh . The buddy ordered Bangers and Mash - Horrible . The mash potato and sausages were so hard , the boys forced themselves so much yet they could barely finish 1/2 . I don't know if its considered edible , they should just focus on their pizza making instead.
All in all , I am happy to strike Timbre off my To-go list . [ Finally ]
And for the pizzas , I will be back !!!
