Last day in Bangkok and its officially the first holiday that I cant wait for it to end . Started the day really early to do all the last minute shopping at Platinum Mall and Siam area before our flight at 6pm . Lunch was at Greyhound cafe and their food was really norm . I didn't find anything worth a mention , not until dessert was served . Their crepe cake was totally worth the wait . We waited for at least 20minutes for a piece of cake to be served and frankly , both my time and patience were running dry . Thankfully for the taste that made me forgot I was really unhappy and close to cancelling my order .
So afraid of missing our flight , we reached the airport at about 4pm. Had time ahead of us so we strolled in their duty free and found everything so overpriced . Had our last bite of BKK in one of their restaurants , and it was horrible . I dont even know where to begin , from the stupid service to the food and the rip off price tags . Apparently ordered my tom yum noodles and I waited till Bryan is close to finishing his meal before I asked for my food , and the staff actually forgot my order . I didn't order 20 dishes , just 2 !!! Even their Cha yen is horrible , what ? I stormed out of their restaurant , packed donuts , Breaded sausage , spud potato w/ bacon cheese and everything I love up to our flight and we had a feast in the air instead .
It was still an awesome trip , despite the robbery case . The only reason why I really cant wait for this holiday to end is just cos I'm really tired of being on high alert and paranoid whenever I'm on the streets . Tired of hugging my bag tight while indulging in my food , definitely tired of the intensive walking for 5 solid days . I bet nobody is happy taking a plane back home and marking the end of their holidays , but I sure am . One thing for sure , I'm starting to embrace and adore the safety in Singapore .
