First August Weekend

Here's last weekend's affair - 

A whirlwind of emotions and what not .

• TGIF , everyone claimed . I had my time with the girlfriend & Bryan on a rainy Friday in search of a good restaurant to settle the hungry tummies . Didn't want to travel too far as usual so we took the chance to explore Greenwich . The choices of restaurants there were disappointing . We had Mai Tai for dinner and it was a complete let down . Initially thought their Thai food would be of certain standard but every dish we ordered fell short . 
• Having chosen a wrong restaurant for dinner wasn't the worst part of my night . During the wait for our food to be served , I took my camera out - turned on and the " Lens Error " thing happened again . My boyfriend calls me a ferocious girlfriend all the time and this is one helluva ferocious moment for me . I just got the damn camera fixed in April , after my trip to Hongkong . Vividly remembered how angry + upset I was when my camera failed me during a holiday and IT HAD TO HAPPEN AGAIN . Not to even mention , the awful dinner killed my appetite . 
• My Friday night ended well only because I got my Tiramisu craving fixed + beer . Beer makes me happy , really happy . Gotta thank the sweethearts for accommodating to my choice of drink .   

• Saturday's first destination was definitely Canon Service Center . Expected a " Ms , this repair will take 7 working days and we will SMS you when your camera is ready for collection " . Sorry , wasn't gonna entertain that shit from them . Deadly stares & aggressive tone worked wonders and I got my camera back within 2 days. I've decided , I'm gonna hunt for a new camera soon x 
• One of the days when I'm hardworking enough to bring Canon 50D out .  Lunch at Tao's Restaurant - Sister restaurant of Dozo .  Decent food at a decent price . Their lunch set ends at 4.00pm which is good for people like me who constantly miss the 2.30pm last order for lunch .
• Did shopping for reads , its been a long time . Reading is such an expensive hobby . 

• Sunday Lunch with my family to celebrate Bryan's birthday . 
• Caught "Total recall" in the evening with some asshole constantly kicking Ellen's chair throughout the movie . I think it'll be better for the ill mannered to spend their money on basic etiquette lessons instead of movies . 
• Late dinner at Arbite , favorite brunch place in the east .
