Last Wednesday , the girlfriend got invited to Triumph's 40th Birthday party and lucky me got to tag along with her ! Got even luckier because the venue was just 4 minutes drive from my workplace so we didn't have to rush over .
Venue was beautiful ! We got offered champagne seconds after stepping into the event . It was really a graceful event where expensive tapas was served by waiters walking around everywhere and a booth with chefs preparing fresh foie gras & oysters . Definitely an eye opener for me who've not attended such parties .
The highlight of the night was the fashion show and I was secretly hoping for DJ Tiesto's music to be playing in the background like Victoria Secret's . Okay , day dreaming aside , the fashion show was actually spectacular ! The opening of a pretty lady singing and a ballet performance left me in awe even before the actual show started .
Event ended at 9ish and we made an impromptu decision to Powerhouse since it was Ladies night . For all I can remember with my sober state of mind , the free drinks seemed never ending , Branden bro ordered more beer even when we were struggling to finish ours . So thankful for having the best bro , for travelling all the way from home just to send me back safely .
